The chapter opens with a conversation between the guild's fifth diety leader, the high hope leader, and the third-dietary leader of the sixth guild, the griever. They are discussing the vice guild leader's absence from the previous meeting and the return of the f-r-cult. The griever tells them that the black vice-guild leader was preaching peace and justice when he massacred his entire guild. They decide to hunt him down and return to human territory.
