In this chapter, we learn that the gang has been fired from the police station, and that the only thing left for them is to find a way to pay for the damage they've done to the building where they fought the monster. The police officer tells the gang that he doesn't care how much damage they have done, as long as they pay for it. He tells them that he's heard that some people have won big in the stock market, so he'd give them the chance to do the same thing. He also tells them to go to a nearby guild and ask for help, since his brother has been kidnapped by a giant. The gang agrees to help, and the police officer promises to take the kid to the guild to tell them what happened.
