In this chapter, we learn that the shop's new manager, "nik" , has hired a new employee, "nicole" . "Hey, guys," nik asks, "why are you watching me catch up on school and in boyfriend right now ?" . . She's been reading about "pride and prejudice" in school, so she decided to write a play about it. "That was for school," she says, "the play we'd be doing is pride, and prejudice . I thought I'd read it, and it's just like this lame dude." . Oh, and this "Elizabeth chick totally stole" the play idea. She swears that she's never going to dance with "Mr. darcy" again, and that she wants "blake" to go dance with her. She says that's the reason why "even the thought makes her sick ." "Hey guys," she asks, and maybe "you're right" about the fact that "less you count stalking" doesn't make her do anything on a Friday night. "I'm just saying tomorrow it'll all be over ," she tells them. "You guys don't want to know what's up over here?" , she asks. "What's happening over here? rock and you dont wanna know ?" "Hey fellas, let's hear what she made it !" , he says. "It's not what it looks like , it is not how it is," he says, adding that he thinks they need a "better explanation" than that.
