The patient's father, the dean of hospitality emergency room, is furious that his daughter is being mistreated. He has sent his daughter's living expenses for the month, and he is angry that his son-in-law, jianzhong, has refused to save his son. He is also angry that the mayor of the city, a "sanctimonious hypocrite," would refuse to save the son of a woman from whom he had refused to marry. The doctor tells the father and daughter that the patient is in danger of dying if he is not treated immediately. The father asks the daughter to look after the patient for a while, and the daughter says that she has done so.
