Dr. Ling is still at the hospital, but the baby has been born prematurely, and is now very weak. The baby's mother tells the doctor that her daughter-in-law has lied to her about everything, and that she has given the baby to her during the wedding party. The doctor tells her that his brother has just returned from a year-long absence, and now he has to deal with his mother's lies. He tells the mother that he wants her to do a paternity test on the baby immediately, and she says that she will not allow the woman to enter the house if she doesn't do so. She also tells him that she was late for the wedding dress fitting because she was trying on her wedding dresses. She says that the man has changed a lot since he met her, and he has apologized for buying her all of her wedding-related items. She asks the doctor if he will keep the baby, but kick the man out, or if he should abandon the baby and start a new family with the man.
