About This Chapter
At the gate of the prison, the young man is released. He asks why he has come to see the station. The young man tells him that he wants to introduce him to his wife, who he has not seen for many years. He tells the man that he is curious about how he and his wife know each other, and how they have come to be so close. He says that his schoolmate once bumped into him at school, and they became fast friends. She was also from a poor family, and her mother had just been diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to work as a bookkeeper for a few days a week to pay for her mother's medical expenses, and she had to take classes as usual. One day, he saw her distributing flyers on the street, and he thought she was doing a good job. Later on, she was forced to drop out of school and look after her mother, who was getting worse and worse. The two men reminisce about the times they spent together, when they were going through all kinds of trouble together. They say that they have nothing to regret, because they were able to get married because of all the things they had to go through together. The man asks the man why he hasn't asked him directly, and the man says that it is more interesting to ask him directly from someone else
