The next morning, the Governess arrives at the office to find that she has not been allowed to leave the room. The Governess is annoyed that she is not allowed to speak to the other men in the room, and she wonders if they are talking about her and Yiran. She also wonders whether they are having an affair. She is sure that they are, but she is afraid that they will make a scandal out of it if she learns about it. She feels that she should not be ashamed of having a crush, and should put the matter to an end if their relationship would not work out. She tells the Governress that she will send a message to the relevant authorities if she apologizes for her behavior. She then asks the girl to come to the side of the building where she is waiting after the meeting to talk to her. The girl tells her that it is okay that they have not been able to speak, but that she would like to speak with her. She says that she feels sorry that she did not know she had a crush on the girl before, and that she wishes that she had that kind of love for the girl. She asks if she can give her a hug, and then they will go back to being friends again. She decides to go and think it over, and asks what she will do if she does not have the kind of affection that she does have. She suggests that she slap the man on the face, tell him that he is a scum, and run away.
