In this chapter, we learn that Victor is still alive, and that he is still in love with Lucie. We learn that he has a crush on Lucie, and he has driven away many other boys who admired her. He still thinks that he takes her as his friend, but he realizes that someday he will have to admit that he cares for Lucie just as much as a friend does.
