Two days later, the narrator is walking in a park when he runs into a guy he doesn't recognize. The guy is "such a short-tempered guy" , and the narrator has to act like he never happened. The narrator feels awkward, and he apologizes to the guy, but the guy won't say a word and keeps walking past him. He feels like he's a fool for not apologizing.
