Back in the city, Gulliver tells Pansy that he's glad to be back in the country. He's learned a lot from everyone, and he'd like to return to the city to get some more information. He tells Pan that he and Alang haven't talked much since they left the city. He hopes that they'll be able to talk some sense into the guy who's been spreading corruption in the village.
