The rubble man tells his visitor that he has always understood the world around him. He explains that ki, or energy, is the energy stored within us and that it moves through our bodies and back into the earth. He says that because of this, he is always able to use the power of ki to move through the world. The visitor is impressed and asks him to read the story.
