In this chapter, we learn that the demon king is actually a practitioner of dark magic. He was originally on the side of the Pandans, but he has revealed himself to be the Prince of Heaven. The Pandans are able to fight off the ferocious demons, although they are different from the ferocious ones that eat people. The prince of heaven is the one who has the power to stop the evil from happening. He tells the duo that they are both providences, and that he will still be able to save them if he finds out about it.
