About This Chapter
In this chapter, Carmen explains to the audience that he is not the master of the dream. He is merely a messenger sent by the master, who asks him to save people. Carmen says that he cannot be the reason for the dream, because he was trying to figure out why the dream was created in the first place. He says that it is possible that the master created the dream because he had a set of rules for it. The master must be able to control all of the systems in the world, including spiritual power, magic equipment, and the rules of the universe. He adds that he has never met a self-conscious person like the master. He wonders why Carmen is so hard on him, and wonders why he is so worried about the war. He concludes that the war is impossible because of Carmen's presence. He asks the audience to know that the prophet is the "Prince of Heaven" and that he will be on the side of the gods. He also says that if the war does start, he has no idea what will happen.
