About This Chapter
This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between the Panda and the Prince of Heaven. The Panda says that he's sure that the prince didn't intend to create the dream, but he'll figure out a way to get rid of it. He's not sure if the prince has a good reason for wanting to do this, or if he just wants to do it for the sake of his rank. The prince of heaven seems to have a good temper, but the Panda doesn't seem to want to cooperate. Panda is confused by the prince's behavior, and he wonders if it might be because the prince is angry with the Panda for using his power. He also wonders why the prince always uses such high level magic, and why the Panda is always using such low level magic. Panda points out that the knife field in the dream is pointing to the power of the soul, and that's why he was able to get into the dream in the first place. He asks the prince if he'd like to die, and the prince replies that it's his turn to talk to him, so he won't come back until he can talk to the Panda again. The two of them discuss the possibility of the prince using his powers to help solve the current situation, and Panda wonders if he might be able to help the Panda.
