Osin arrives at the train station and tells Tim that he's cut off from the outside world. He's been testing the signal five times, but it's still not working. He asks to be taken to the house of Oleg and Darya, but Tim says he can't go. He tells Osin to fix the signal, but Osin says he doesn't have the power to do so. He also tells Tim to take him to Oleg's place, because Oleg has just killed his first client in a fight over a new coat. The coat is a ligature, and there's no way to make it out without killing the guy. Osin tells Tim not to do it, but to throw it on the ground.
