About This Chapter
In a soliloquy, Sobi tells her brothers that it is time for them to "drop their weapon" and surrender to their fate. She tells them that they cannot hope to defeat Balor without her, and that she has prepared the way for her father to rise. She says that she will make them great again, but that she knows that they will not be able to do so for a long time. She asks them to remember that they are weak, and she promises to give them the strength they need to rise again. Sobi is sorry that she failed, but she says that it was not her fault. She blames her brothers for their arrogance, and says that they have become corruptible. She reminds them that their true power comes not from within, but from within themselves. They are two of them, destined for one another, and they hate everything in the world. They hate each other, she says, because there is nothing more than themselves. She promises to set them free, and then she will give them what they deserve.
