About This Chapter
Krallok tells the witches that they must earn their trust before they can kill them. He tells them that he will make them king, but that the battle will look like a farce without bloodshed. He asks them where they learned to shoot the lopper, and they tell him that scouts have been following his progress. They remind him that if he had not smoked so much, they would not need to kill him. They tell him to get more coins from Barras little boy. They also tell him about the fly wings they have stolen. They say that the unnamed creature crawls out of hell and devours everything in its wake until it feeds on the flesh of a virgin. They ask him what he is in for, and he says that he is going to die if he does not snap out of his hunger strike. He begs them to burn the fly wing and teach the creature not to harm them.
