In this chapter, we learn that the witches of the city of Orgonia have been captured by florentine, who has been sent by the "dark lord" to kill them. The two witches, norgal and Agamemnon, are in the midst of their escape when they are attacked by the goblins, who have broken into the city and are waiting for the "great toad god" to emerge from the egg that is inside the city's outer wall. As the battle rages on, the two witches draw near each other in order to help each other out of their predicament. When the battle is over, they find the head of the dead god.
