Norgal and Agamemnon have been hiding out in the forest, and the knights have been forced to flee. The arch-cleric Florientine dislikes norgal's talking basket, so the knights are forced to hide in the woods. The only thing the knights can do now is to pray, and they pray that the new king of Verona is alive and will be able to help them. The knights decide to eat ostrich eggs, which are very large. The egg is cracking. The goblins are trying to kill the first sword, but the knights will crush them. They are also throwing rocks at the eggs. The men decide to return to their master.
