In this chapter, the monk explains that he can kill anyone who surrenders to him. He tells the monk to repent for his sins, plead for mercy, and then die. He says that he will kill the traitor first. The monk tells the father that he is sorry that he let him down, but he is not as strong as the father. The father tells him that he has one last chance to surrender, and that his son lives. He asks the father to open his eyes.
