About This Chapter
Meanwhile, in the Yellow River Arte, a general tells the young master that a storm is coming, which will make it impossible for them to board the ships and destroy them. The young master tells the general that he is the son of "a witch" and that he believes in divine providence. The general tells him that he has spent his life trying to protect the city of Fanyang, which is under the control of the lushan village of Pei min. One day, he receives a report that some sheep have been stolen from the village. He sends two of his men to investigate, but after one night they do not return. The next morning, he discovers that all the villagers have vanished, and he kills all thirty of them. He tells the story to the generals present at his retirement banquet. He says that it is a pity that the monster cannot be stopped and that they need more time to train the army.
