In this chapter, we learn that the kingdom of the ferrets is cursed, and that the third member of the clan has run away, leaving the kingdom without a leader. The ferrets are afraid of death, but they believe that when they die, their bodies will become the ground for new life, and their souls will travel through the rainbow bridge.
