In this chapter, the cat explains that he gave the witch a part of his energy to help her find the witch. When he got closer to the witch's house, he realized that the witch had gone away without saying a word. He asks the cat to send onyx to the core of the cat, but the cat refuses, saying that it is impossible for him to do it on his own. He tells the cat that there is no such thing as a "witch's ritual" in the shops where the cats are sold, since the witches do not fully understand the cats. He suggests that the cat should go back to the shop and tell the witch not to disturb the shelter anymore. The cat says that he can crush the cat right now, even if the cat is wounded. He says that even if he is wounded, his friend will not understand the disturbance he has caused. He warns the cat not to visit the shop again.
