In this chapter, Ganymede explains that he has opened a magical cat shelter in his sister's former store. He is now 13 years old, and he is looking for a cat to take his place in the shelter. He asks his brother-in-law if he can help him find a cat that will suit him. The two men agree to help, and the two of them go off to find the cat.
