About This Chapter
The wounds are still there, but they're not decreasing. They're getting worse, says Sofie. She's worried that they'll have to go back to Eden to cure the wounds, but she's convinced that God can only give one light to every being. Sofie is happy to know that she has a father and mother, and that she'll be able to spend time with them. She thanks Sofie for giving her all of his light energy, and says that she knows things are going to end this way. She says that he's always been selfish, deciding what he wants, and she knows that he doesn't understand her feelings either. She tells him that she will give all of her light energy to him, and he'll squeeze no more. He says that his whole body is made of divine energy, so if he gives it all to her, she will do the same. He tells her that a divine soldier is supposed to carry out God's will, but that she gave him a human life, and this is more than he deserves. He's happy to have his name, his friends, and everything he owns. He wishes that he could experience those things, but he can't.
