This is the first time we've seen Soekidin in action, and he's all "what the heck is going on here?" and "what kind of game are we playing here?" . He's a little worried about what's going to happen to his new recruits, but he doesn't want to let them down. He wants to make sure that they don't get too close to the action, so he suggests that they go to a nearby siren and sing a lullaby to make them forget about what happened. He also wants them to come back and support the other students if the situation gets really bad, but they can't do that because they're not supposed to do that. So he wants to explain to them what happened, so they can listen to him. They all agree that it's just a game, and that they'll have to start again. But he won't stop until they've killed each other.
