In this chapter, Tamura continues her story of how she fell in love with Atsumori. She tells him that she is studying for a medical degree, and that she wants to see him as much as she can. Tamura asks him to come to her apartment to see her, and he agrees. They eat together, and Tamura tells Tamura that she can leave her toothbrush at Atsumoni's apartment, and she agrees. Coincidentally, they are planning to set off fireworks at an inn tonight.
