In Chapter 3, Kishi is in a bad mood. He wants to go to dinner with his grandfather, but his legs are giving out and he's not sure how he'll get there. He asks his grandfather to take him to Atsumori Klin's house, where he can have a nice meal. Kishi thanks his grandfather for taking him to dinner, and he tells his grandfather that he forgot to give him his scarf back two years ago. He's glad he did, because it looks better now than it did then. He tells Kishi that he wishes he could marry her, because she's so cute and has a great personality. He also tells her that he'd like to work hard with her, and that he wants her to pat him on the back for doing so. He gives her a bento, and she eats it. She tells him that she'd rather have friends than study from the same school as the third prince. She says that she wishes she had friends, too, since she doesn't want to be like everyone else.
