About This Chapter
The next morning, the innkeeper tells the porter that he has caught another customer. He asks the porter to sit down, and the porter tells him that he is tired, and that he caught a hare an hour ago. The porter asks if the man is from the south or the east, but the man says that it is not important, and asks if he can get him a cup of tea. He then asks if there is something fishy about the man, and he says that he does not know, but that there is "something right" with him. He says he has tried to stop the thief, but he is always telling him the truth, and so he will not tell the truth. He tells the man that he will take care of his mother, and tells him to not worry about the royal guard, who will not take instructions from him. The innkeeper says that the royal guards will report this to the palace, and they will burn them to the ground. The man thanks the innkeeper for his help, and says he knew that the man was there to help them, and now it is time for rebellion.
