In this chapter, Rinehart and the Black Goblins discuss how they're going to defeat Dom. They're not going to be defeated, they say, because they've got bigger fish to fry than they can catch. They also have a new invention: a "super engine" that's "filthy" and "smutty" . The Black Goblin says he's going to run back and take care of his crewmen. He's got a bunch of them flying out of the ship, and he can't stand it anymore. The airship has just come back from an attack, and it looks like it's been hit by an enemy ship. He says that he'll try to calm the crew down, and then he can attack the enemy. He also says that they'll meet soldiers who'll be able to fight, and that they finally meet a soldier who can put a fight together. The black goblin says that the king is dependent on this, because he needs the black goblins to save him.
