In this short scene, Sik Yeow-Cheol is late for work. He complains to his wife about the strange atmosphere at the hospital where he works. He wonders if something bad has happened at the place, and she assures him that there is nothing to worry about. He tells Sik that he is planning to move to Sik Yeol's hometown, and Sik asks him to tell his family first. Sik asks his wife to hold off on getting married until after he has gotten his share of the business, but she refuses to listen to him. She tells him that his father opposed his start-up, and when he came to South Korea, the company was in financial trouble. When Sik's father asked him to join the family business, he was opposed by his mother and father, who were both Sik Yeols' hometown friends. Sik says that he cannot show his face to his family or Sik if the business fails, and that he will not be able to do so. He asks Sik why he is there, and he says that it is a misunderstanding. Sik cries because his sister has moved far away, and his father was crying because he did not want to help Sik with his studies.
