About This Chapter
The next time the two teams meet, they're going to have to fight in a "step-stun fighting" style of defense, which is basically a boxing match with one team defending against the other team's best player and one team guarding against the best player from the opposing team. This is the same tactic that professional basketball players use to guard their own best players. It's also the same technique that most amateur players use when they practice shooting. The idea is to let the opponent shoot from far away and then block from closer, so that the opponent can't get a good look at the opponent's shot. Most of the amateur players don't have the time or the skill to practice shooting every day, so they use zone defense to guard against other players. The other team will use a double team or a box and one to try to guard the other player, but they'll use the zone defense because it's easier to guard a good player from another team than it is to guard someone from your own team.
