As long as he lives his life as if nothing happened, i.e., as long as Nemo lives as if he never died, Nemo's life will be as normal as it ever was. Nemo is nervous, but he's not angry. He's just selfish and hopeless, he says. He blames himself for everything that's happened to Nemo. He doesn't blame Nemo for signing the contract, he blames him for ruining everything. He says he'll stop being a devil now that they're talking about it. He tells Nemo that if he makes a contract with Nemo, Nemo will live a healthy life.
