Doyoon asks if the kiss will be a success, and the narrator replies that he is sure he should be thinking the same way. He says that he will give him a kiss, and that they have had enough fun watching a movie and will go to school. He asks why he stopped the kiss and asks if he thinks he is thinking. He explains that he cannot understand the emotions of the devils because they are simple emotions like happiness or sadness, but he can understand the complicated emotions of love because love is both good and bad. The narrator says that at the moment, he was relieved that he didn't get the kiss, because he had come this far hoping for it. He then asks if there is another personality, or if he has been possessed by the ghost. He answers that he doesn't know, although at first he thought someone made him act the way he did. He adds that he liked the ghost because he was different from him, and he wants to get a kiss from him. He decides to meet up with the ghost that night.
