In this chapter, we learn that Chi-chan's father is Hiroyuki's professor at Oedo, and that she has to leave early to return to her father's house. Chi-Chan is grateful to Hiroyuki for his support in her life, and she asks him to look at her art when they return to Oedo. She also asks to speak with her father in person, and he agrees to do so.
