This chapter opens with a conversation between Ryoko and Chitose, two members of the team that is working on a revised edition of the group's work. Ryoko complains about Chitose's lack of interest in her and her friends' work. He is paying his own way to attend an arts college, and she wishes he would be more interested in her.
