About This Chapter
The next morning, the two men discuss the situation with each other. The first complains that his mom is sick, and the second complains that he's been neglecting her. The two agree that it's time for them to get their act together, and they agree that they'll do their best to keep in touch. The second complains about the fact that the editor of the mangapop site came by the previous day and complimented him on his work. He says that he had a bug on his face, and he'll get it for him when he returns. The third complains about how hard it is for him to love his neighbor, and that he wishes he could have seen his mom's face when he was talking to her. He tells the men that he will be back, but that he won't be taking the job because he can't live with his mom, who's worked so hard to support him. He'll keep drawing, he says, even if he doesn't take the job. The men agree that if he runs for president, his mom will have to compromise.
