It's Friday afternoon at the convention center, and Jim is sitting in front of the art he's been working on. He's miserable because he can't sell any more of his work. He tells himself that maybe he'll find someone to buy one of his books. Jim says that's a good idea, since there are a lot of people who don't care about the books they read. He also points out that they're not the only ones who read the books. Maybe they'll just ignore them. Jim tells himself to keep trying, since it's hard for him to get out of his comfort zone. He says that he doesn't get out as much as he used to back home. He hangs out with some friends and hangs out in the convention hall, but the atmosphere is different there. Jim asks if he can go back to the drawing room, but he'd have to wait for the stairs to open up. He asks if the girl he was with was okay, and she says she was standing there for a long time. Jim thinks she's standing there because she was making faces, and he asks if she should come back. She says she'll hurt him if he does, but Jim says no, sorry, he was just tapping him on the shoulder to get him to do a fight scene.
