In this chapter, the narrator tells a story about a brother and his brother-in-law. The younger brother hated his older brother, and his parents preferred the older brother because he was a businessman. However, when the younger brother met the elder brother, the elder man was dismissed from his job because of a "mistake" . The elder brother forgave his younger brother and was able to rely on him for money. The narrator tells the story of the two brothers and how they met and reconciled. He says that the story has been locked in his heart for so long that he does not want to share it with anyone.
