When the scene opens, Portia is sitting in her hotel room. She's worried about what's going to happen to her when she's gone out for the night. When she hears the sound of someone's panting, she realizes that it's Portia's voice that's cracking. She tells herself that she'll be fine, and then she slaps her hand.
