Back at the office, we find out that Shmoop has been having an affair with a girl he met at school, and that he's been trying to hide it from her ever since. He's happy to hear that she's taken his feelings for her seriously, and he hopes she'll be happy to see him again soon, since he'll need to see her again soon at work. He asks her to come to work, and she says she'd be glad to meet him, but she has other things to worry about.
