In the middle of the night, we find the two of them lying on the bed, and the narrator tells us that they've been having a little spat. He's not sure what's going on, but he's pretty sure it's because they're in love with each other. The narrator tells the couple to go home and get ready to go to bed. He doesn't want them to get into a fight, though, so he tells them to hug each other and kiss each other goodbye. They hug and kiss, and then the narrator says, "I'm sorry, I love you
