In this short scene, we learn that Hirokazu has changed a great deal since the last time we saw him. He seems to be in love with himself again, and he's willing to pay a price for it. He's even willing to take a job to support himself if it means he can get back to his beloved Hiro. Hiro tells us that he doesn't think he'll be happy if he finds out that he was asking for favors. He says he will leave it to Hiro to decide whether or not to take the job, but he does want to make sure that he gets his money's worth.
