Back in the present, Alek and Alek's son, Bero, are having a great time at the annual fireworks festival. Alek asks Bero if he's feeling well, and Bero tells him that he is. Bero says that he doesn't feel well, but that the medicine has kicked in, and they've bought some tissues for crying. Alek tells Bero that he wants to know how he'll be able to receive a second proposal from Alek, and that he'd like to take everything he has.
