In this short scene, Roxane explains that she has bought some Protec and is about to put it on Roxane when she realizes that her lover, Aroku, does not look like he is getting it at all. She sighs and says that she is glad that they are doing this so that she will be able to recover from the pain she has caused him. She is pleased that Aroku is so kind to her because she is trying to compete with him for his affections.
