In this short scene, Hiro finds out that the guy he's been hanging out with is no longer with him. He's married, and has two other kids. Hiro realizes that this means that he'll have to find someone new to love, and he wonders if it's better to find a new lover for his own good or someone new for Hiro's own good. He wonders if the two of them would be happier if they could just find someone to love for their own good instead of for the sake of someone else's. Hiro admits that he would've liked to have been able to take him by the hand and make him his own, but he doesn't want to do that now. He thinks that this will probably be the end of the relationship, and that he will have a one-sided love for Hiro.
