About This Chapter
In this chapter, the protagonist is introduced to the protagonist's patron saint, the patron of the zodiac, who is also known as "the patron saint of qi yue" . The protagonist explains that the patron saint is a man who makes anyone who dares to look down upon him pay. He knows that it is useless, but he also knows that he is a prideful man. He tells the protagonist that the "yanhuang republic" is the "pearl of the east" and that the people who have protected the east for thousands of years are the same people who will protect the protagonist now. He explains that many things are beyond comprehension, but that many of these things are real life. He asks the protagonist if he is telling him the story of his life, and the protagonist replies that he does not believe in the story. He says that he wants to get out of the city quickly, and that he would like to know why his clothes are flying away from him, and why his body is shivering uncontrolably. He also says that his biggest wish when he was little was to become "an extraordinary person" , and now that his wish might come true, he will not run away from the dream. He wants the protagonist to introduce himself, and then he will listen to his story.
