The narrator tells us that he's an expert in anatomy, which is why he has fallen asleep on the train. After listening to the narrator ramble on about anatomy, he falls asleep under a blanket. The train attendants don't know what to do with him. The narrator wakes up and asks the attendants what's wrong. They tell him to go to the hospital. The doctor tells him that the train has reached sea level and that the smell in the cabin is awful. He tells the passengers to go back to their cabin. He hits the protagonist with his "condensed yang hand" .
