The next morning, Ming tells the doctor that he has caught poison in the valley, and that he wants the doctor to cure him immediately. The doctor tells him that he can delay the cure for a day, as Ming has purged his blood of the poison. Ming says that he plans to continue his predestined relationship with the goddess of buddhism.
