The scene opens with a conversation between sai and pat . . pat pat pat ! . Mr. Tachibana has called him from the pharmacy and wants to bring some papers to sai, but he is too busy to do so. He asks sai if he can come in and help him, and sai says that he is sure that he will be able to. He thanks the pharmacist for his help, and pat pats him on the back for his kind words. He tells sai that he thought he would help out, and he says that it is a pity that he did not need to help out. He says that tachibanna is very kind, and that he would like to work as his assistant . He is surprised to find that he has been working all day and is not able to go in and do his work. He tries to get sai to stop working, but she says that she will not allow him to do that. She tells him to go back to work, and they head back to lunch together. She asks . if there is a way to get them alone to get lunch, because they havent had lunch together in a long time. She says that they must be taking a phone call, and she is sorry that they are not together.
